Tim Crawford is a member of the firm’s general litigation practice. Mr. Crawford handles all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody and support, parenting time disputes, complex marital estate division, as well as courtroom experience in criminal defense, real estate law, and general civil litigation. Tim is ready to tackle tough legal challenges, especially when you are called into court.

Raised in Lake Orion and a lifelong resident of Oakland County, Tim has lived in Clarkston, Lake Orion, and Oxford. Tim is familiar with the issues and needs facing residents of the area. He knows the people behind the scenes in the local courts, and he knows the judges who will be deciding your case.

Tim is a graduate of Oakland University, earning a B.A. in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2012, graduating magna cum laude from the Western Michigan University’s Cooley Law School.

While in law school, Tim clerked for the Honorable Judge Edward Sosnick at the Oakland County Circuit Court, gaining valuable in-court experience in both the General and Domestic jurisdictions. Before joining our firm, Tim was employed as a civil litigator in a large law firm dealing primarily in the areas of landlord-Tenant and real estate disputes, quiet title actions, and eminent domain.

A member of the State Bar of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, Mr. Crawford is also a charter member of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan RISE committee, and also a member of the Oakland County Bar Association.
